Display Cases

Designed with elegant style in mind, our showcases are the choice of many who look for a graceful refined means of displaying their treasures. These display cases offer a dust free environment that is meant to enhance and provide dignity to any object it houses.

Featured are solid oak moldings with classic detailing and timeless design, which is our hallmark. Round stately columns, not wooden angles, retain the glass which sets our display cases apart from others in the industry. This attractive styling reflects a warm distinctive look that will stand the test of time. Traditional in its look, yet gracious with gentle curves that appeal to the eye.

We take pride in our craftsmanship which is reflected in each hand made piece. There are no assembly lines in our shop. Each case is built by a single craftsman, ensuring the highest quality. Our artisans take great pains to match grain patterns and coloring. This detail is also reflected in the corners. Corners are clean and tight with a crisp look that can only come from hands-on workmanship. These subtle details of quality set our showcases apart from the rest.

While other display case manufacturers offer unassembled frames where you have to put it together yourself, plus provide your own glass, our display cases come fully assembled. Glass is on all four sides providing viewing from 360º. Glass is also secured in the cover which allows natural light in from above.

The cover rests on a solid oak frame. At a glace the showcase gives the appearance of being sealed with no easy entry. However, access to the object inside is gained by simply lifting off the cover. No turning the case upside down or leaning it over, no screws to remove. All items can remain in their set place while articles are removed, added or simply rearranged.

Each case receives a silky smooth hand rubbed satin finish. Showcases are available in two finishes. "Antique Oak", which is slightly darker and adds an accent of age to the wood grain. And "Golden Oak", which is a rich golden tone that can be found currently on contemporary oak furniture. All cases come with a choice of Emerald Green, Navy Blue or Scarlet Red cloth base. This cloth base can be removed to reveal the finished oak surface if that is preferred.

Standard "Display Cases" are available for items such as casket flags for veterans, footballs, basketballs, dolls, and others. Many customers require a special size. Globe Cases

Globe Cases are small displays for showcasing one item. Consisting of a hand-turned native hardwood base and a crystal clear glass globe these displays reflect a warm and distinctive look that is attractive and enhances the look of any article placed in it. Executive Pens

In keeping with the tradition of superb craftsmanship we offer the finest in writing instruments. A harvest of rich woods chosen for their uniqueness and character of grain are hand selected for use in making these pens and pencils. They exhibit quality and craftsmanship with precision mechanisms and exceptional appearance.

Each comes protected by a velvet and satin lined presentation case with a provenance stating the species of wood from which it is crafted. Click "Executive Pens" for current species and availability.

"Memory Pens"

The beauty and function of our Executive Pens carries over into what is known as the "Memory Pen". A "Memory Pen" is a unique and personal way of taking a small piece of wood and turning it into a unique gift for someone special, what we call "A Memory Preserved".

For example, a piece of wood that has significant meaning taken from a childhood home, school, church, or even a grandmother's rocking chair is sent to us. That wood is then used to make an elegant writing tool functional for everyday use or as a cherished keepsake.

A "Memory Pen" requires only a small piece of wood, a minimum of 5/8 x 5/8 x 4-1/2 inches for each pen. However, a larger piece allows us to cut the wood in a way that reveals the most striking grain pattern. Great care is taken to determine these cuts to make sure the character of the grain will be utilized. The more striking the grain the more beautiful the final work will be.

Included with your pen is a presentation case and a provenance detailing where the wood comes from. What makes the "Memory Pen" even more special is that the provenance detailing the significance of the wood will be written by you. This you will provide when you place your order. It has been our tradition to showcase the talents of our fine wood turners. Each year a Christmas ornament is designed to commemorate the holiday season. And we offer to our customers this truly unique way of keeping last years memories.

Ornaments made from Christmas trees are light in weight and hang beautifully on the tree. Whether your tree is White Pine, Scotch Pine, Douglas Fir or Cedar, an ornament that is turned from your special tree will reveal a beautiful grain pattern.

Each ornament is carefully turned to bring out the character of the grain. Ten coats of polyurethane finish are applied giving the ornament a high gloss that sparkles with the tree lights.

Here's how to order your Heirloom Ornament:
1. Anytime from March 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006 register your email address with us by filing out the Ornament Registration form.
2. During December of 2006 you will receive an email reminder to place your order for the following years ornament.
3. After receiving our email reminder, log on to our web site and purchase your ornament by clicking on "Heirloom Ornaments" and following the checkout process.
4. After your order is received a shipping carton with instructions of how to cut your tree and the size required will be sent to you. Place a piece of your tree in the carton and mail it to us.
5. One of our skilled wood turners will then sculpt your tree into the design for that year. Your Heirloom Ornament will then be shipped to you in November 2007 so it will arrive for the upcoming holiday season.

Note: Registration for the 2007 ornament will be accepted from March 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006.

Since Christmas trees are fresh cut your wood requires proper drying. Receiving your tree by March 1, 2007 allows us to apply a slow dry process to the wood which reduces its susceptibility to cracking. That is why the ornaments are not shipped until November.

If you would like to purchase an ornament but can't supply your own tree, there will be ornaments available that may be purchased made from Christmas trees that we have in stock. These ornaments will be sent out in November also so you will have your ornament for the holiday season.
